My name is Michelle Shipman and I have been thoroughly researching the Lo Home Business for nearly 10 years.  I began looking through many of the same magazines that you yourself have looked at a few times.

*  I have checked into 30-40 different Log Home Companies and narrowed it down to the top 5 that caught my eye not only in design but in the types of logs that they use and the different types of services offered.

*  Next I researched each company with the different organizations available to me.  Building Systems Councils, The Better Business Bureau, The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Log Home Council, Timber Products Inspection Inc., International Log Builders' Association and from there I investigated each Log Homes business's hometown Chammber of Commerce.

*  From there I complied my findings and the one company that stood out above the rest was "Precision Craft".

I don't know about you but once I find everything that I am looking for I like to know that the company I am choosing to help me design the home of my dreams is honest.

The judges base the award on the following:

Site Enhancements
Another idea for my home page’s text is notifying visitors about the enhancements I put on my site. For example, I want visitors to sign my guestbook or fill out my survey Form E-mailer to answer questions about my site, my business, or my site’s topic.
